A WORD THATS HOLDS UNIVERSE IN ITSELF……

Perhaps the first glimpse of what I remember of you was the black polka dots on the red……

A faint remembrance of my swollen feet, high on fever craving for a milk candy….

Both my hands and feet bruised, a bandage on my head but trying on a brand new bell bottom of milky white colour…

Talking to a newborn calf of our cow, “YOUR MOM AND MY MOM BOTH HAVE GONE FOR THEIR WORK, SO LETS WAIT TOGETHER FOR THEM TO COME BACK”….

A melodious harmony, soothing to ears and a melancholy to enchant our lives. I still have that earthen fragrance of the mud which clad the walls and the floor of our house, like a blossom of flowers on almond trees.

Hours and hours of secluded hardworking, cleaning the sacks of rice to store for winters.

The taste of simple bread and butter while in a train travell wouldn’t have had so sumptuous taste if it was not made by your hands.

That every morsel you fed us is the blood in our veins, strengthening us till now.

Teaching us the meaning of the festivals, the auspiciouness of the elements and presenting us to the world as your gems.

Sacrifice would be a very small word to define your love for us, leaving your career to grow us well.

Restless nights you have faced during the hard times that pounded us all and your strength to bear the thunders of the fate, I can never muster that much courage with which you sailed us through by being our mast when we lost our most loved father…..although it was your greatest loss.

Your will and your focus to get us all to the phase of our life where we could stand and fight independently, selflessly and without any expectation.

I rightly feel why a goddess is called MAA, but a God is not called a father….You perhaps define the words that “SINCE GOD CANNOT BE EVERYWHERE, SO HE CREATED A MOTHER”.

There are endless things to write about you, but the only thing what I woul’d love to say is “I LOVE YOU MOM”.

Mother’s day is nothing less that a festival in itself to esteem the essence of a women to teach how to love to share and to care .

WISHING YOU A HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MAA. MAY GOD BLESS ME WITH YOU AS MY MOTHER IF EVER THERE IS ANY TRUTH IN BEING REBORN.

With you I wish all the mothers in this world a day dedicated to their endless efforts and their inherent love for their children, which perhaps is the best boon GOD has given to this universe.
