I still remember the day when I was boasting a golf swing that i had learnt from a you tube video…..technical to the brim. A steep combination of hand eye coordination with a perfect biomechanical functional control. It was not easy and I was happy to see the numbers on a range distance controller.
After the routine and to my utmost amazement, SHE got up in a playful mood, struggled through the heavy metal in my kit and finally took out 56 wedge.
I was worried about her getting hurt but decided to watch with all my senses on alert. And what i saw was a perfect answer to my belief about her.
She drew a perfect backswing and uncoiled a perfect downswing with a precision like threading a needle in a single time.
Was it an inborn talent, a keen sense of learning or a glimpse of what she holds in herself.
IT WAS HER WILL TO COME CLOSER TO MY HEART BY REPEATING WHAT SHE SAW ME PRACTICING SO HARD FOR.
That’s the essence of a bond between a father and a daughter.
Daughter means a world to father
